About Department- Department of Biochemistry was established in the year 1984-85 under guidance of Dr V. Jambhulkar with the aim of providing knowledge of basic biochemical process within and relating living organisms to undergraduate students. The Department have highly qualified & experienced faculty headed by Dr. R. Meshram. The Biochemistry lab is well equipped with basic & sophisticated instruments to carry out biochemical & analytical work.
Lecture method, practical classes & technology aided teaching practiced in department. Students are evaluated by unit tests and seminars. The Department organizes various academic & extracurricular activities to achieve overall development of student including invited talks as an enrichment program as well as motivates the students for participation in intercollegiate events. Arrangement of Parents teachers meet and Mentor-mentee meet twice a year, also make communication easy with stakeholder and facilitate the process of learning smoothly.

Industrial visit/ study tour- Biochemistry department organizes study tour for. B.Sc. Students, which is the part of their curriculum. Students were exposed to instruments, mechanism used in laboratory.
