About Department-
Established in 1985 & has received most likes by student feedback as the techno-savvy department. Department’s creditability in designing practical approach is well admired in electronics community at university level. The department has ICT based teaching which includes circuit designing explanations through software like circuit maker, subject presentation from NPTEL, motivational videos from TED & how it’s made?.
Faculties have their own power point presentation which makes students to feel and understand science concepts. Staff members of the department, Ajay Mundhada as Associate Professor, has done M.Sc. in Applied Electronics and Vishwajit Pendsey Associate Professor & Head, has specialization in Instrumentation. The faculties apart from being subject communication experts are also known for counseling, entrepreneurship development, social devotion and as moral boosters to not only electronics students but to the students of entire college. In the field of research, department has completed one minor research project & in advanced phase to submit major research project.
The department organizes interaction of current students with alumina to get first hand report on how to do study, future plan and other topics of their interest. Technical lectures are also organized. Parents meets are organized for I,II and III semesters.
Department also shares its infrastructure and enjoy, extracurricular activities such as NSS and automation work in the institute.
